I was also in need of a new camera as I had left mine with the children of Sonrisa so that they could learn how to take and download pictures : not as generous as it sounds I'm afraid as there was a scratch on the lens which you may have noticed making a smudge on recent pictures.Singapore is a Mecca for shopaholics and I think I have done a pretty good deal on the new Canon Powershot with 40x zoom ... time will tell whether abandoning Sony was the correct decision!
