Further fun in Brunei

On reaching the mid point of my time in Brunei, it is time to share some more pictures.  The days pass quietly as you can imagine, but my travelling companion Dave arrived a few days ago and so we have been sight-seeing together - usually by bus! Stand by the roadside and wait and then wave, although twice we have been picked up by very nice Bruneians who have given us a lift and chatted all the way - so kind. Dave has also taken over garden watering duties which has given me some relief from the mossies  - he doesn't seem to react at all whereas I come up in itchy lumps as soon as they look at me.  And insects are not the only wild life - see the first photo!

"I am sorry that I chewed the cushion, but I have brought
you this nice juicy rat as a present! Aren't I a thoughtful dog?"

Buses are easy to use - bright colours and with large numbers

At the terminal each bus bay has a chart showing where
that particular bus is going - or should be going.

Different zones have different coloured vehicles and all cost $1 a ride.
