48 hours in Kuala Lumpur is not enough!

After staying in extremely cheap accommodation in Kuching it was time for some pampering - the 5* Renaissance hotel in KL has fitted the bill nicely - especially the Club Lounge with amazing breakfasts (I had 4 courses this morning and can hardly move now!), delicious afternoon teas, sparkling cocktail time and tasty late snacks too! It may surprise you to hear that I have actually stepped outside the door, but of course the Petronas Towers had to be seen (took so many pictures of the world's tallest twin towers!). The hop-on bus service has proved very useful, but the weather has remained cloudy for most of this visit - a real change after Borneo's blue skies! Flying to Beijing tonight for a few days before starting my Trans-Siberian Train adventure:  the final stage of this trip and I will be home in early July having yet again enjoyed every minute - well nearly every minute - having the dog bring me a rat in Brunei was not the greatest!

It sure can rain here!
