In Class

The school. day begins at 10 with Brain Gym and singing the national. anthem and then lessons are 45 minutes long until just after 1pm when we break for Tiffin: some children ate snacks, others payed, more disappeared into the trees presumably to go home for something to eat. Staff were treated by the Tiffinmaster - noodles, soup etc and then we started again for the afternoon's two lessons with the afternoon finishing at 3.30. With six classes and six periods I was able to see each class each day - except on Friday when we only taught in the morning.
We sang Head shoulders, knees and toes, the days of the week, the preposition song and we payed games to increase vocabulary and extend their range of phrases - I enjoyed myself and I think they learnt something too!
